Todd County Central took advantage of nine errors by visiting Kenwood, TN on the way to an 11-3 victory Wednesday night in Elkton.

The Rebels won their third in four tries to improve to 9-4 with a trip to Edmonson County coming up on Thursday.

Leading 4-1 in the bottom of the 2nd, Jameson Hunt singled in a run and Tanner Farmer drove in a second with a sacrifice fly.  Kenwood pushed 2 runs across on a Rebel error to trim the lead to 8-5 in the top of the 5th.

The Rebels answered in the bottom of the frame with an RBI double by Preston Rager and a run-scoring single by Ethan Bicksler, his third RBI of the game.

Todd Central starter Jase Hampton got the win with four innings of work, allowing 3 runs, only 1 earned, on 5 hits with a pair of walks and 6 strikeouts.  Hunt relieved Hampton with one out in the 5th and held Kenwood scoreless with 2 strikeouts before Will Kearns come on for the 7th.

The Knights appeared to be in business in the top of the 7th, with a walk and a single putting runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.  Xavier McClain-Stowe smacked the second pitch he saw from Kearns to deep center field and looked destined for extra bases, but Hunt made an incredible diving catch just short of the fence.  The Rebels doubled off both runners to complete the triple play and end the game.
