Lyon County shook off some early cobwebs and used a 24-6 run to end the first half, rolling to a 94-58 win over Livingston Central in the boys’ 5th District semifinals at Trigg County.

Livingston scored the first five points of a first quarter that featured seven lead changes.  Livingston’s last lead came at 18-17 on a Max Downey 3-pointer.

Lyon used a 10-2 run early in the second quarter to create some breathing room for a 30-21 lead.  After John Barnes hit a 3-point to get Livingston to within six points, the Lyons used an 18-0 run over the next three minutes to build a 48-24 lead.  Livingston would get no closer than 22 points the rest of the way.
