After struggling through three quarters and then trying to pull off a big rally late in Friday night’s loss to Hopkins Central, the Christian County Colonels made sure they would not have to go through the same approach Saturday afternoon. Eniya McGee scored six first quarter points and the Lady Colonel defense limited Daviess County to just three field goals in the opening quarter, as Christian County got out to a 13-7 lead.

The Christian County offense kicked it into a higher gear in the second quarter. Reni Shemwell scored eight in the quarter, as the Lady Colonels put up 21 points in the quarter and extended the lead to 34-22 going into the break.

The defense continued to rule the day for Christian County in the final quarter as the Lady Colonels cruised on out to the 21 win.
