Sophomore Abigail McPherson did it all for the Todd County Central Lady Rebels on Thursday night, going the distance in the circle and driving in 5 runs in an 8-4 win over hosts Hopkins County Central.

McPherson won her fifth game in nine starts, allowing 4 runs, 2 earned, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts.  She held the Lady Storm scoreless through three innings before they broke through with a run in the bottom of the 4th.

Leading 2-1 in the top of the 5th, McPherson came through with a 2-run double and Maddie Williams followed with a single to score McPherson from second.  Addison Woodall capped the inning with an RBI single for a 6-1 Lady Rebel lead.

McPherson drove in her fifth run of the night with a single in the 6th to make it 8-2.  Hopkins Central had two of the first three batters reach on singles to start the bottom of the 7th and pushed a run across after a ground out.  A walk and two hit by pitches brought in a run, but McPherson got a bases-loaded strikeout to finish the game.

Hailie Hollis took the loss for the Lady Storm after allowing 8 earned runs on 12 hits with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts.  Keira Bryan worked the final 1.2 innings, walking 2 and striking out a pair.
