After winning the All A Classic state softball tournament last month, Lyon County returned home to win a pair of district games by closer margins than they wanted.

With six days of rest, the Lady Lyons looked sharp in an 11-0 five-inning win over Trigg County Monday in Eddyville.

Kaelyn Conger was sharp in the circle, pitching a one-hitter and striking out 11. She retired the first 12 batters she faced until Rylee Hendricks led off the fifth inning with a single. She was the only Trigg batter to reach base in the game.

Lyon County struck for five runs in the first inning. Conger drove in two with a double, and Lilly Perry plated another with double. Rachel Coursey added an RBI single to complete the scoring.

In the third, Hadlie Butler cleared the bases with a three-run double to expand the Lyon lead to 8-0.

Lauren Davis had two hits and an RBI as Lyon County had five doubles as a team.

Lyon County has won 58 of the 62 career meetings with Trigg County since the switch to fastpitch in 1995.

The Lady Lyons (15-6) will travel to Webster County Thursday in search of their 11th straight win.

Trigg County (4-8) will look to get back on the winning track Thursday with a home date with Todd County Central.
