The Todd County Central Lady Rebels are 4-1-1 after picking up a win and a tie Friday in the Spring Break Bash Tournament in Murray.
The Lady Rebels began the day by tripping up Mayfield 3-2, then battled host Murray to a 2-2 draw through seven innings.
A three-run sixth inning was the difference in the win over Mayfield, with Todd rallying from a 2-0 deficit.
Mayfield had taken the lead with single runs in each of the second and fifth innings.
After loading the bases with one out in the top of the sixth, the Lady Rebels tied the game when an error following a groundball allowed two runs to cross the plate. A grounder to short off the bat of Abby Williams allowed another run to score, pushing Todd Central in front 3-2.
Abby McPherson picked up the win in the pitching circle for the Lady Rebels. She went all six innings, allowing one earned run on five base hits. McPherson stuck out 12 and walked just one.
Todd was limited to just three base hits in the contest by Mayfield hurler JoJo Fox. Samantha Case, Jocelyn Mock and Haylee Vass each had singles.
Against Murray, the Lady Rebels scratched out a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to salvage the 2-2 deadlock.
Dakota Gammon drove in the tying run with a groundball to first.
Todd got strong pitching from Maddie Williams and Vass. Williams went four innings, allowing just an unearned run on two base hits. She struck out three and walked none. Vass went three innings, giving up one earned run on three base hits while fanning one and walking none.
Madelyn Slaughter went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Lady Rebels. Jocelyn Mock was 1-for-2 with a double. Maddie Williams added a single.
Todd is scheduled to play again on Monday at Jo Byrns in Cedar Hill, Tenn.
