For the second time this season the Lyon County Lyons put triple digits on the scoreboard at Jason White Gymnasium, rolling visiting Ballard Memorial 104-45 on Saturday in the Akridge Ace Hardware Shootout.  The Lyons opened the day with a victory over Calloway County, before moving to 14-0 with the win over the Bombers.

After posting 38 points in the win over the Lakers, freshman Travis Perry stayed hot with 14 points in the first quarter against the Bombers, including a pair of 3-pointers, and the Lyons turned a 14-4 advantage into a 35-6 lead after one.  Gunnar Bingham got in on the act as well, knocking down two 3-pointers on the way to 8 points.

Zach Radivonyk came off the bench to score 6 points and the Lyons’ lone senior, Clay Haines, added 4 to continue to stretch the lead.  Brady Shoulders drilled a 3-pointer to trigger a running clock at 46-11 with over four minutes left in the half, and Lyon County took a 40-point cushion into the break.

Perry added 11 more in the third, including 3-pointers on three-straight possessions, for the last of his game-high 29 points.  Jack Reddick hit a pair of 3s as well, and the Lyons led 88-35 with a quarter to play.

The Lyons turned to their bench to finish the game, with Radivonyk scoring 6 points and Eli Baker and Brandon Ray each adding 4.

The Lyons figure to get a stiffer test on Monday when they hit the road to face Owensboro Catholic.  The Aces are 9-3 overall and hold a 5-1 record over 2nd-Region teams, including wins over UHA, Madisonville-North Hopkins, Christian County, and Webster County.
