Lyon Has 5 in Double Figures in 93-63 Win at Caldwell

Lyon County remained perfect and beat Caldwell County for the second time in three nights.

The Lyons defeated the Tigers 88-60 Saturday in the championship game of the 2nd Region All A Classic.

There was less on the line in the rematch, but Lyon still pulled ahead early and pulled away for a 93-63 triumph Monday at the CAB gym in Princeton.

Caldwell (2-4) was a little more competitive over the initial stages of the second matchup, but Lyon finished the opening stanza strong to grab a 29-12 lead after 8 minutes.

The Lyons (6-0) took a 44-24 lead to halftime and held a 67-41 advantage through three quarters.

Five Lyons scored in double figures in the contest. Travis Perry led the way with 28 points while Jackson Shoulders added 20. Jack Reddick had 14, Brady Shoulders 11 and Nick Whalin 10.

For Caldwell, Jabrion Spikes had 22 points and Carter Whittington finished with 12.

The Tigers will be in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Russellville.

The Lyons will get a few days off before hosting Graves County Friday night in Eddyville.
