Dawson Springs Girls’ Basketball All-Decade Team (2010-20)

Two members of Dawson Springs’ 2019-20 basketball team are included in the Lady Panthers All-Decade Basketball Team.

These are the top 10 players from the last 10 years (2010-11 season through this past season), according to Your Sports Edge.

Here is the first team:

Brooklyn Clark — Just a freshman in 2019-20, Clark has already surpassed the 1,000-point plateau. She was second in the region in scoring this past season with 20.5 points a game while also grabbing 7.1 rebounds. Clark was named to the coaches’ All-2nd Region Team this season and has been named to the All-7th District Team the last two years. She will enter her sophomore season with 1,069 career points and 381 rebounds.

Erin Orten — Orten was selected All-2nd Region in 2019 and was a three-time All-7th District pick. Orten averaged 10.1 points and 7.9 rebounds as a senior in the 2018-19 season. She finished her career as a Lady Panther with almost 1,100 points and over 800 rebounds.

Tayler Mills — Mills is a two-time All-7th District Team selection, earning that honor in 2012 and 2013. Mills led the Lady Panthers with 15.3 points and 9.1 rebounds a game as a senior in the 2012-13 campaign. Mills also topped the team in both categories as a junior with over 10 points and 7 rebounds. She went on play college basketball at Lindsey Wilson.

Elizabeth Black — Black was an All-7th District Team selection in 2012 and 2013 and was second in scoring on the team both seasons. As a senior in 2012-13, she scored 10.2 points and grabbed 7.5 rebounds a night. In her junior season, Black averaged 9 points and 7 boards a game.

Brooklyn Cotton — Cotton is a member of the Lady Panthers’ 1,000-points club and was an All-7th District Team pick in 2018. Cotton led Dawson Springs with 12.2 points a game as a senior in the 2017-18 season. As a junior, she topped the Lady Panthers with 10.6 points a game.

Here is the second team:

Denisha Randolph — Randolph scored 647 points as a Lady Panther. She was named to the All-7th District Team after averaging 10.2 points and shooting almost 35 percent from 3-point range this past season.

Tiki Robinson — Robinson was selected to the All-7th District Team as a senior following the 2014-15 season. She led the team in scoring and rebounding that season with 7.4 points and 4.9 boards.

Rihana McKnight — McKnight earned All-7th District Team honors twice, picking up the award in both 2011 and 2012. She averaged 8.7 points a game as a senior in the 2011-12 season.

Andie Mills — Mills led the Lady Panthers in scoring at 8.8 points a contest and was named All-7th District following her senior season of 2015-16. As a junior, Mills was second on the team with 6.2 points a contest.

Kaylee Simpson — Simpson grabbed 682 rebounds and scored 474 points as a Lady Panther. She led the team in rebounding as a junior with 7.4 boards a contest. Simpson was a freshman on the cross-country team at Brescia University this season.
