K’Ron Sherald had the top finish for the Christian County Colonel Track and Field team Saturday at the KHSAA Class 3A State Track Meet in Lexington.
For the ladies, Jameisha Mack had a 17th place performance in the discus throw, hurling the disc 91-feet, two-inches.
The girls’ 1600-meter relay team of Ashanti Banks, Ariyonna Johnson, Eniya McGee, and Autumn Bell finished in 22nd place with a time of 4:26.40.
The 400-meter relay team was disqualified for an exchange zone violation.
For the guys, K’Ron Sherald had the top finish for the Colonels, coming across the finish line 15th in the 400-meter run in a time of 51.43.
Christian County’s mixed unified team of Joseph Bostick and Ethan Dooley finished fourth in the 2×50 yard dash in a time of 14.89.
