Christian County Bags Top-Six Finishes at Twilight Relays

Christian County brought home a pair of top six finishes at the Chuck Gullo Twilight Relays Friday at South Marshall Middle School.

The Colonels finished in fourth place with 61 points, and the Lady Colonels finished sixth with 51 points. Marshall County swept first place at the event.

BOYS

The 4×50 meter relay team finished second (56.00)
The 4×100 meter relay team finished second (46.14)
The 4×200 meter relay team finished second (1:35.33)
The 4×400 meter relay team finished third (3:43.72)
The 800-meter sprint relay team finished (1:49.59)
Ellis Dunn finished second in the triple jump relay (38-11) and fifth in the long jump relay (16-09)
Tyler West finished fourth in the triple jump relay (35-07.75) and 12th in the long jump relay (14-06.50)
Hasai Powell finished sixth in the shot put relay (35-03)
Artravious Gaither was sixth in the Javelin throw relay (100-01); 12th in the shot put relay (32-06.25) and 16th in the discus throw relay (75-09)
Dustin Montgomery was fourth in the discus throw relay (102-91) and 15th in the javelin throw (75-07)
Timothy Sowerby was seventh in the discus throw relay (92-11)

GIRLS

The 4×50 meter relay team finished seventh
The 400-meter relay team took first place (53.04)
The 1600-meter relay team finished second (4:26.03)
Ariyonna Johnson won the long jump relay (15-04.25)
Zaria Sharber was sixth in the long jump relay (12-00.75) and ninth in the triple jump relay (27-09)
Terrani Watts was fifth in the shot put relay (27-02.75)
Dakijah Walton was 11th in the shot put relay (25-03)
Jameisha Mack was fourth in the discus throw relay (89-02)
Amelia Riddick finished 18th in the discus throw relay (59-09)
