Lady Tigers Hold Off Crittenden County For First Win

The Caldwell County Lady Tigers picked up their first win of the season Friday going on the road and winning a tight battle over Crittenden County. The Lady Tigers took the contest by the final score of 55-49.

The game was a battle throughout, with the two teams battling to a 10-10 tie after one quarter. Behind the play of freshman Jacey Jaggers, who had 10 points in the second quarter, Caldwell County was able to take a 22-21 lead into the locker room at the break.

The game continued to be a tight battle in the 3rd quarter. Caldwell County was able to extend their lead, but ever so slightly to 38-35 going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Tigers would push the lead out to 11 points in the final quarter only to see Crittenden County make a late rally, that would come up just short.

Caldwell County got a big night from Jacey Jaggers, who had 22 points and 11 rebounds. Jada Boyd ws the only other Lady Tiger in double figures with 14. Crittenden County was led by Madison Champion with 27.

The Lady Tigers improve to 1-2 on the season, and will return to action Saturday afternoon at Fort Campbell.
