Fort Campbell Head Coach Michele Ellis switched her offense and defense formations, and the result has seen the Lady Falcons score six goals in consecutive games, both wins. The latest came Tuesday as Fort Campbell beat Christian County 6-0 at the Stadium of Champions.

The Lady Falcons were the aggressor from the opening whistle, winning the midfield and firing 25 shots toward net. Lady Colonel goalie Payton Hale turned away seven straight shots on goal before Kaitlyn Cervantes took a pass from Maddison Ruggles and scored just two minutes before halftime. Ruggles would add an unassisted goal 30 seconds later to give Fort Campbell a 2-0 lead at intermission.

Fort Campbell continued to turn up the heat in the second half as Cervantes scored her second goal, this one coming off a pass from Kariahna Gamblin for a 3-0 lead.

Ruggles would add two more goals for her second hat trick in as many games, and Jordan Hardy would also tack on a goal for Fort Campbell.

Hale would end up with 16 saves in the contest for Christian County, who managed just six shots of their own.

Fort Campbell (2-5) plays at Madisonville Thursday, while Christian County (1-6) hosts Owensboro Wednesday.
